Calling All Babysitting Volunteers!!!

Hey All,

We have 17 kids registered for tomorrow, so I need as many of you as possible. If you can be there at 10:00 (hint: dancers & others) that would be great, if not, then noon is the time we begin to watch the kids - until 3:00 p.m.

I have at least 5 or 6 who said they could help. I really appreciate it! Let me know if you cannot come.

Thanks!

The next photo is our snow shoveling today! You all did great. Thanks! Mr. Ebel is very appreciative! Buddy thanks you as well! We'll have to do it again sometime... : )
Hopefully, there will be school tomorrow. I was going to be at the high school today, too. Bummer! Rec is tomorrow night fur shur...
Youth Group is from 6:00 - 7 :00 p.m. on Sunday for Everyone. Concert following. Try to stay - it will be good! Remember to bring your dollar to Youth Group for the gift.

Youth Stuff

Hey Hey,
Look at what fun we had on Saturday! Six yards in North Warren were raked. We are doing it again this Saturday after Kid's Stuff... At noon...be there if you can! (Nov. 17th) It feels good to do good deeds for people to help them out!
Lots of people were at Rec - how exciting! No Rec next week, it will resume after Thanksgiving.
Youth Group on Sunday. 6:15 for Jr. High and 7:00 for Sr. High (for those NOT going to the Bills game!) We will have live music to sing with this week! Be there if you can!
Warning...Sermonette...
It's easy to see Thanksgiving as the precursor to Christmas, but remember to take time to give thanks for what we have in this country. God has blessed us in it and in this community of ours. Mention this when you see other family members and friends and don't forget to thank the Lord for his goodness and forgiveness. He is ALWAYS with us and ALWAYS and FOREVER will LOVE us unconditionally. His Love endures forever...We can do NOTHING to earn his love...Thank God today and every day!

Rake Leaves Anyone???

Hi You All,

Whooooooo are these characters??

We are doing a leaf raking service project this Saturday, 11/10. We'll meet at the church at noon, maybe rake a little, then get pizza, then maybe rake some more. It depends on: 1. number of you who show up 2. number of yards we need to rake 3. the weather.

BRING A RAKE IF YOU HAVE ONE!!

I am toying with the idea of doing it a little on Monday afternoon, but no promises. I have some things to do on Monday so we'll see. If Saturday goes well, we may do it next Saturday also. Thanks for being so flexible! : )

Youth Group Sunday night 6:15 for Jr High, 7:00 for Sr High. Be there!

Rec will be on Wed. I have new newsletters for those who haven't gotten one yet. It's just on one side of a piece of paper this month, but highly informative!
We were praying for you, Lindsey, today (Sat.)! Hope it went well!

Make sure you all set your clocks back an hour or else you'll be early, of course in my case, I'll be on time! : )

Correction!

Dinner is at 6:00, NOT 6:30! We are still meeting at 5:30!

Friday, October 26, 2007

This Sunday & Halloween

Sunday Youth Group is from 5:30 until about 6:15 p.m. for EVERYONE! There is a covered dish dinner at 6:30 for the church and I want YOU ALL to be there and don't worry about bringing anything. It is for Buddy for "pastor appreciation" so I am not sure what will happen.

Also, your parents and families are invited and welcome to come to the supper also! They don't have to bring anything either!

HALLOWEEN - NO REC, but we will be hosting a table in the park from 6 - 8 p.m. We will help pass out hot dogs and candy. Make time to come by and help for a short or long time! If you can come before 6 to help, please do! Wear a costume if you want!

New Blog (creative title, huh?)

News of Note:
Rec will be Wed at 7:00 at N.W. Community House...BB is back!
Youth Group this Sunday will be from 6:30 - 7:30 for Middle School students...not that High Schoolers couldn't come. Since most of our Senior Highs are in the band and the band will be in Canada, then there will not be very many here! Makes sense...
Beginning on Oct. 14th, the Youth Group will be structured as follows:
6:30 - 7:00 Middle School Students
7:00 - 7:30 Everyone
7:30 - 8:00 High School Students

Speaking of the WAHS band...GREAT JOB on Saturday night. I enjoyed seeing you all!
I will be doing a newsletter this week hopefully!
Bye 4 Now...

SYATP - Be There!

See You at the Pole is Wednesday before school at the flagpole! (although the location is somewhat obvious!) It is supposed to begin at sevenish, but just get there when you can. The more the merrier! I may be at one depending on if I am working and where. You Beaty guys can do it at Beaty also. Be strong and courageous! God will honor your efforts and prayers! If you can't be there in person, pray for those who are - we have the privilege of being able to talk to God anywhere and anytime and know that He hears us!

News - Mrs. Franklin

I just want to let you all know that Anne Franklin, mother of Ian and Hannah (9th & 10th grades) passed away last night. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and had a strong faith. Keep her family in your prayers - that they would feel God's arms of love wrapped around them.

We don't know why these bad things happen, but we know that God is Soverign (in control) and powerful and that He knows us and loves us more than we can imagine - He created us!

Blessed be the name of the Lord...

Share His great love today.

Hey Hey New Post (finally)!

OK you all...here's the buzz,

Youth Group this Sunday night...ALL at 6:30 (until 8:00). We won't split yet - in a couple of weeks. You just have to promise to behave and listen! I only have two ears you know! : ) (and one brain...)

I have a new study. Come check it out. I'll try a few of this new kind and we'll see if we like it.

Rec. on Wednesday at Community House. 7:00 p.m.

In lieu (instead) of having Youth Group next Sunday (Sept. 23), we will be going to the Soldiers and Sailors Park at 5:00 p.m. for a See You at the Pole Rally with singing, fellowship, prayer, and a "ra ra" rally! I can take five of you + Joshua in my van. If more need a ride, we'll figure something out.

I look forward to tomorrow or tonite depending on when you read this! : )
Or last night...or two nights ago...

Youth Group Tonight Again!

Hi Everyone,

Once again, we are having Youthy Groupy tonight at 6:30 for everyone. Thanks, Brianna for the update (on previous blog) I hope everything works out for her!

Last week was a busy one for me - sorry I didn't get a new posting up. There are new newsletters so be sure to get one if you haven't yet.

If any parents or other adults want to have input into my planning for the year, there's a meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the church to help me get organized...actually, to help me plan the year's activities!

Yes, I was Beaty on Thursday & saw some of you! We'll see where I will be this week! We can call it "Where's Mama Ward?"

Have a wonderful day off tomorrow! We're taking Burt back to school.

Fair, Chex, Trash & Treasure

Hey Youthy Types,

Here's a couple of pics from the fair...
A good time was had by all... : )
CHEX: We will begin making the "snack" at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. If you are in marching band, or just can't get to the church until later, we should still be doing it until supper time. I am clueless as to how long it will take - this is the grand experiment!
TRASH & TREASURE: We will set up on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in front of the church. We'll sell until about 3:00 p.m. or earlier if the snacks are gone.
Later,

KB and Tiredness...

Hi All,

What an awsome (that word I don't use very much...again!) day yesterday. Several of you all and the Ward Family journeyed to Darien Lake for Kingdom Bound and had a wonderful and inspirational time! We saw Seventh Day Slumber and Newsboys and Burt & Joshua saw Skillet. We may want to think about this again for next year! (Lindsey & Riane at Seventh Day Slumber.)

At the Newsboys Concert... Ask any Ward about the spoons!
Yes, M Ward is very tired, but just as tired as all those who went!
I plan to leave at around 2:00 tomorrow (Friday) for those who wish to go to the fair. So far I have Megan & Trey fur sure! Who else fur sure???
A crazy, (but fun) week! School is not too far off.....
Remember: ALL youth are welcome to any of our events, even though you have not been coming. We will be planning our fall schedule soon and would like your input and presence (not presents, although they are welcome also!) Not really... Then again...
Tootles for now,
