Happy November...

Hi Everyone,

First of all...Sorry, Brian, about the game today...no, not really! Actually, IMHO football is highly overrated! I did not even realize who Penn State was playing...

OK, NOW Everyone,

Youth Group Sun night - 6:15 for Jr Hi and 7:00 for Sr Hi. Be there!

Rec will be on Wed. I have new newsletters for those who haven't gotten one yet. It's just on one side of a piece of paper this month, but highly informative!
We were praying for you, Lindsey, today (Sat.)! Hope it went well!

Make sure you all set your clocks back an hour or else you'll be early, of course in my case, I'll be on time! : )

Ok, lets get something straight;
1) I am not a big Purdue fan
2)Unfortunately I am a Notre Dame fan (record of 1-8)
3) I agree with Mrs. Ward "football is overrated"
4)Penn who???

So, there you be.

See ya!

Oh,by the way, I am looking forward to pounding a few people at dodgeball Wed. Be warned.

1)yeah..i did not even realize who penn state played..just that they won..so i don't really care about purdue.
2)i have no problem with notre dame..especially since their name is the "fighting irish." i like irish stuff.
3)football may be overrated, but it is still a great sport to watch and play..hah
4)good one, bad boy. i love them though.

hopefully i can be at rec..we will see..i am looking foward to actually seeing bad boy long enough to get a whole game of knock-out in..haha

enjoy your nights.

It's not so much that football is overrated, most pro and college sports are overvalued. I personally loved playing football back in the day, and still do. I enjoy going to the games with the kids to see some good pounding going on. The success, or lack thereof, of my favorite team (college or pro) has no affect on my daily life. Obviously if I have personal involvement in the outcome of the game, I have more emotion invested in it. I have seen too many times where the outcome of a game or season becomes personal(affecting moods,day-to-day conduct and the such)of fans who somehow feel ownership or personal involvement of a team that doesn't even know of that person's existence. For example "We won the World Series!!"
Really? I did not know "we" had anything to do with the outcome of that.
Sorry, I have carried on long enough, and am not sure I have even clarified my point.

See ya.
