Week of Feb. 10th

Hi Everyone,
Firstly (is that a word?) - here is Mama Ward and her Mama Shukis in Florida last week with our friend, Pelican Pete! (Actually, that's just a made-up name that sounds good!)

Lots of activities this week!

1. Youth Group Sunday Night - regular times: Jr Hi 6:15, Sr Hi 7:00

2. Recreation Wed @ 7:00 at Community House

3. Wed - prep for Spaghetti Supper

4. Thur - as "after school" as possible! Spaghetti Supper. I have some festive decorations! Invite your friends and families to come!
Be sure to check Mr. B's blog for the 30 Hour Famine. I hope you are getting copious amounts of pledges (that's for Riane)!! We want to get at least $1,500 as a group! Also, begin praying NOW for the weekend!

Wednesday evening's work time will be 6:00 - 7:00 approximately. Several of us have choir at 7:00, so we'll need to be done by then.

Mostly setting up some tables and getting all the supplies around.

I know that Mrs. B will be there on Thursday about 3:45 or so. There will be things to finish up on Thursday, such as some last minute table setting, etc. I know she will have the cooking started then as well.

Later, the clean up afterward is a concern since several people (including me) have a play rehearsal immediately following supper.

So come help - it'll be fun.

That photo of you in Florida causes the sin of envy. Right now the wind is howling and the snow is blowing - it's about 15 degrees.

Makes me wonder what we're doing here.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip.

It's only 2 hours...at least when I drive!

I go there for church meetings which start at 8:30 AM and I can leave around 6:00 AM and make it with plenty of time, including a short stop for comfort if required.

So it's early, but not real bad. And that's if you drive safely - like me!
