This is my favorite time of the year...celebrating Christ's Resurrection with weather (slowly) getting warmer and the days getting longer!

No Youth Group this weekend due to the Footsteps retreat. There is Confirmation class at 6:30 for those of you who are in it!!

Ruth and I will be taking you Footsteps participants there on Friday. I'll try to contact you, but plan to be at the church at 6:00 p.m. (having eaten supper). Closing is at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and parents are encouraged to attend. Remind them, and maybe some carpooling can be arranged for that. If any of you have questions, please call me 726-2415!

I'm Excited...for Warmth!

To those going to Splash Lagoon: We are leaving at 9:30 p.m. from the church. I will bring you back to your respective houses hopefully by 3:30 a.m. I'm excited!

Remember: Youth Group is Sunday night!

Deadline Tomorrow (Monday) for Splash Lagoon!!!

I need $ on Monday from those who will be going! The cost is $30 per person. We'll leave at 9:30 on Friday night & I'll bring you back to your houses. We should be back by 4:00 a.m. - you'll get a few hours sleep anyway!

Rec. on Wednesday 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. @ Community House.

Saturday morning is the Easter Party for Kid's Stuff B.i.G. Club - we need people to hide eggs. (You can nap after it's over!) 10:00 a.m. Snacks included!!!

Youth Group on Sunday - last one for March! We won't have one on Easter or the week after (due to the Footsteps retreat).

A request: If anyone is free on Thursday, March 20th in the evening...our church is having a Maundy Thursday worship service and we could use a babysitter or two if you did not want to attend the worship. Let me know if you are willing to and can provide this valuable service! : ) Of course, you are more than welcome to attend the worship - it will be quite moving!

Splash Lagoon & Other Opportunities...

Hi All,

Famine Folks: Thurs. 5:00 @ church to meet with the newspaper reporter about the Famine. Don't forget! ($2,800 raised - WAY TO GO!) : )

Great skate last Wednesday! Thanks to Brian for his planning and support! Those who went had a good time and no one was injured!

If you are interested in going to Splash Lagoon, I need your money & permission slip by Sunday night at the very latest!! The cost is $30. We will leave at about 9 p.m. on Friday, March 14 and be back no later than about 4:00 a.m. (that's in the morning!). I'll take you to your house. If you are in the youth group, we can help with the finances.

The mission trip is being planned and I will need a committment and the deposit of $50 by Easter at the latest so be thinking about that. It will be one of the last couple of weeks in July. Tell me which one works best for you. See me for details! We might do some fundraising activities to help with this trip.

No youth group on Sunday - There is a tureen and Buddy will talk about his mission trip to Egypt. Plan to come - you don't even need to bring a dish unless you want to. It starts at 6:00 p.m.

Kid's Stuff B.i.G. Club is on the 15th and it's the Easter Party. We need dancing people and egg-cellent egg hiders! 10:00 a.m.
